A source language must be defined first to enable automated subtitle generation.
- In the navigation sidebar, go to Assets > All Assets
- Scroll, search or filter to find the relevant video asset
- Select the asset to open a preview*
- In the preview panel on the right, click View Details
- Go to the Audio tab to review the source audio details
- If the correct language is listed under the audio track, proceed to Generate Subtitles
- If the audio track shows No languages or an incorrect source language, click the three-dot settings menu next the the audio track
- Select Edit
- Scroll down to the Languages field
- Select a language from the list
- Click Save to finish
